Victor Victor and Nike Take the Air Force 1 '01 "Court Purple" to Tokyo, October 24

Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1 '01 Court Purple on foot — via Fullress

Steven Victor's dog logo is hopping continents again. After yellow at ComplexCon and blue in New York, the Victor Victor × Nike Air Force 1 '01 "Court Purple" is locked for a Tokyo stop on October 24 — style code IV3238-500, retail $150 / about ¥22,550, in Court Purple / White / Black.

This is the '01 Uptown cut: shorter toe box, tumbled purple leather, white Swooshes, purple AIR lettering on the midsole, and the embroidered Tosa dog patch NIGO drew for Victor Victor riding the lateral heel. Custom packaging and dog charms come with the pair, because of course they do. Sneaker News mapped the whole city-hop calendar; Sole Retriever and Fullress have the purple stills, including on-foot frames that finally clear a clean look at the embroidery.

Our take: city-exclusive AF1s used to mean a raffle and a shrug. Victor Victor turned it into a tour — Detroit gets green on the 17th, Tokyo gets purple on the 24th, Miami closes black at Art Basel in December. If you're not flying, you're refreshing. Kentucky still won't see a pop-up for this one, so the move is watch the Tokyo window and keep an eye on Nike's global channels the week of the 24th.
