The Air Max Ecstasy Plus finally has a U.S. date. Nike's SNKRS app now lists two pairs for Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. ET: the "Black" (style IV7022-002) and the "Metallic Silver and White" (style IV7022-001), both at $180 (SNKRS pages: Black, Metallic Silver and White).
These two first surfaced on October 1, when Footwear News reported them at $190 with only an overseas, before-year-end window and no U.S. date. SNKRS has now put a real clock on it and a lower number on the tag.
Nike's own studio shots show why this one gets attention. Layered stripes run the length of the upper like speed lines, there's a long visible Air unit underfoot, and the silhouette sits low and sleek, more Y2K street runner than gym shoe. The Black pair goes fully tonal and almost hides the stripe work until the light catches it. The Metallic Silver pair is the loud one: chrome-like stripes over black, the kind of shoe that looks like it was designed to be photographed under a streetlight.

Our take: Nike's SNKRS copy for both pairs leans on the 1987 Air Max origin story, which tells you how the brand wants this read: a new branch of the family tree, not a one-off. The black pair is the safe buy that goes with everything. The silver is the one people will actually talk about. Either way, $180 for a new Air Max shape with this much going on is a fair ask in 2026, and $10 under what the early reports said.
