Saturdays NYC and Champion have made their first sweatsuit together, and it's about as quiet as a sweatsuit can get. Per Fullress, the Champion for Saturdays NYC Fall/Winter 2026 set (a crewneck sweatshirt and matching sweatpants) drops October 24 in Japan through Saturdays NYC and Rakuten Fashion. Each piece is ¥20,900.

This is a bechu, a Japanese special-order project, and Fullress describes it as the first one Saturdays NYC has done with Champion. The idea is Champion's heavy heritage fleece seen through Saturdays' clean New York eye. The signature detail is a set of elbow patches inspired by vintage athletic and hunting wear. They're there for durability, but they also give a plain sweatshirt some character.

Graphics are almost nonexistent. Fullress says the design deliberately strips the surface down so Champion's thick fabric and the cut do the talking. The lookbook runs heather grey and navy, styled with oxford shirts, denim and a plaid scarf, and the branding comes down to a small green Saturdays "S", a Champion logo and a couple of woven labels.

Our take: ¥20,900 a piece is a real number for sweats, but this is the grown-up version of the hoodie-and-sweats uniform. It's built to look better on the 50th wear than the first. The elbow patches are the giveaway, since nothing says "I'll be wearing this for a decade" like reinforcing the elbows ahead of time. It's Japan-only for now, so it's a long-distance crush for most of us.

At ONENESS: This set is a Japan release and isn't stocked at ONENESS. Our current Champion lineup lives under Champion at ONENESS.
